Islamabad open table tennis starts today

Islamabad Open Table Tennis Championship begins in Aabpara Community Center in Islamabad (today).

These views were expressed by Chairman Islamabad Table Tennis Association Shahzad Wasim in a press conference the other day.

He said that the objective behind holding the championship is to promote Table Tennis in Federal Capital and the best players will be selected for 43rd National Table Tennis scheduled to be held from December 26 in Karachi.

Former National champion said that there is enormous talent present in Islamabad but we need to groom them properly to make them good players.

Replying to question, he added that in the championship, best four men and women players would be selected. More than 80 players are participating in the championship.

Further, all arrangements have been finalized to hold the Islamabad Open Table Tennis Championship in a befitting manner.
