Rangers and Frontier Constabulary (FC) have been summoned in Islamabad last night for stopping protest rally announced by Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal today, Army has been kept in reserve.

FC squads started patrolling in different areas of Islamabad last night. Arrangements have been made to meet any emergency situation.

A comprehensive strategy had been chalked out in a high level meeting in Islamabad to meet any untoward incident. The meeting decided that in any condition no one would be allowed to damage public and private property and citizens’ lives and protected at any cost.

Several points have been determined to stop the rally from where the rally would not be allowed to proceed further more.

Several MMA leaders and workers had been arrested in a nightlong operation in various localities. Federal Interior Minister confirmed arrest of 25 to 26 MMA people.
