Cigarette is prohibited for birds too!

I think Ministry of Health now has to stop birds from smoking they have failed to do so in the world of human beings. The ratio of smokers in islamabad is increasing day by day which impressed the birds. It is been investigated that after every 10 seconds thousands of people die because of lung cancer or other diseases caused by smoking.People who smoke are not only in danger but those who inhale its smoke are too, in danger of getting in to trouble. The law which says that under age smoking is prohibited and those who sell cigarettes to them will be punished, but as such no one follow the law and regulation and shopkeepers are earning money by selling it to underage people especially boys.Cigarette is now a symble of a hero and todays generation is looking for ways to look cool.Smoking is dangerous for health and that everyone know very well.Ministry of health is doing nothing to stop it.How can some one stop smoking when there is a big hording with colourful grafics and a handsome model stanidng for the advertisment of cigarettes. A good step taken by the government and that is they stop promoting the adds but still they have to work more hard to prevent people from this dangerous adiction.

    Wow, what a picture !!

And what you point to is a bitter truth. The government seems completely insensitive and is just busy making money rather than trying to prevent disease.

They love to tax everything (yes, one day you’ll pay 1 rupee for every breath you take) so why can’t they tax cigarettes heavily ? The high price will at least stop few more people from smoking (like it is in Europe and elsewhere).

    hahaha charsee maina.
Stopping cig ads may help romanticise the idea for youngsters but they also need to ban smoking in public, and increase tax on smokers. Not only are they causing damage to themselves, they are hurting others around them (this photo evident of that), causing pollution in the environment and littering the streets.
