Helmet or No Helmet

From high-speed chases ending up in a minister’s office and impounding his official car for signal violation to issuing tickets to top bureaucrats and parliamentarians, the Islamabad traffic police make it a point not to spare anyone but then zero tolerance doesn’t apply to “Brothers in Arms” who can get away with riding bikes without helmet, while commoners get fined for not wearing one.

Being an avid sports biker, I usually lever out my stress by hi speed stretches during the late hours of the night. Last week was not so fortunate for me because I got a ticket at 80 Km\hr, and can you imagine.. at 1 am in the morning ..?!?…point to be noted, I was NOT over speeding, but preparing to do so…:-)

RS 210 if they catch you without a radar (like I was). I NEVER drive without a helmet. And these are such nice guys. We cracked a few jokes, and when I was about to leave he told me that you should probably wear some jacket because it’s getting cooler. Would love to get fined by these guys every once in a while…:D
