the traffic police!!!

I had heard about them, but actually seeing them in action was something else! The brightly painted corolla’s really bring out the ‘bharam’ factor among the citizens here, as i see it. And ofcourse, when they challan ministers tow away cars of senior naval officers, you get to have a little more respect for them than usual.

However, there was one aspect for the police i hated during the char raat(s), i spent shopping at Jinnah Super and Super. They sound out their sirens a bit too much! They were kind of acting like those kids who had gotten their hands on sirens (or noise making toy) for the first time and were just ringing it for the fun of it!

Kind of made the whole mall seem like a prison!! (i watch prison break a lot!). Apart from that, atleast the people behave better with them around than not, so kudos ITP!

luckily I got out of 2 chalaans so far. not gonna share the trick though. but the traffic police is amazing … i saw them increasing the fine of a major who kept insisting that since hes an army officer (losers :P ) he should be treated differently … so he was … twice as much fine :) after which he had nothing much to say :P
