Warning :: Fake Currency!!!

According to a report by Daily Times, the State Bank of Pakistan has had numerous complaints of fake currency spreading in the market and resulting in financial losses. It is estimated that around Rs. 1 Billion fake currecy notes are circulating in the market at present. This fake currency had been smuggled from Afghanistan and dumped in the tribal areas from where it was being supplied to the major cities and business centres of Pakistan.

FIA Director General Tariq Pervez confirmed the reports and said that a “Dedicated United” has been formed in the crime circle wing that would interrogate the cases of fake currency.

So be careful people! Make sure you validate the paper money when it is exchanging hands!
