Yahya: Well apart from FEW scenes ITP is going fine … who cares abt IN line of duty here anyways …!

Rick Shaw: wll actually lots of construction is going on … roads .. underpass … so this mud u r seeing is aftereffects of that oil plus rain … oterwise Islamabad is not so bad in terms of cleanliness

I don’t know. Police normally has some latitude on what they can do provided it is done “in the line of duty”. I don’t know what are rules for ITP or if there are any rules.

why is there always so much dust (mud) on the roads in all of our cities? At least Isloo was supposed to be the cleanest one. May be they need to plant more grass and wash the roads regularly.

This is has to frikking change! Asma, I reccomend gathering people over a petition to enforce harsh punishment for policemen and law and order agencies that blatantly defy the rules they should sacredly and loyally enforce and abide by!!

Come on guys, give these people a break. What makes you think in the picture that the squad car is actually “parked” on the zebra crossing? It might actually be moving on signal going green. I wonder what people get by taking such pictures and promoting them to create an acrimonious environment. Pretty immature stuff in my opinion.

Also one other deduction might be if you look closely, that the police car’s tyres are beginning to turn left. On the left you can see a car giving indication to turn right. So this might actually be a case of apprehending he other perpetrator to the left of the picture

Well, 1976, we dont pay them to break the rules while enforcing them. I’ll ask you when they ‘apprehend’ you on the road…

I think Pakistan has lost its sense of public morality, or I am being to linient. There is nothing wrong with taking these people to task, and telling them whats wrong with them. After all, they are there to ‘fix’ stuff, right? So why dont we tell them where to start? After all, it does take some balls to face up to them or just go into apologetic dont-care mode.

More over, I really dont think this is ‘the best’ way to apprehend a ‘perpatrator’, in the middle of an intersection…!?!? What wrong have those other people done?

Asma auntie xD, with petitions, walks and stuff, atleast you know you tried – instead of letting it happen everyday over and over again, a change for the good! :)

Phil: The only point I am trying to make is that the picture provides in sufficent evidence to blame ITP. I am not defending anyone, or suggesting that authorities should be above law.
