nice car! I was wondering how do people take care of the imported cars in PK? I mean spear parts etc? Something as simple as oil filter. I am planning to bring my sports car with me from US but not sure how the spear part thing will work out…?
Hope you won’t mind me pointing out that it should be “spare” parts and not “spear” parts.
*spare parts – you know the answer?
If you can import the whole freaking sports car, I bet you can import some “spear” parts as well…;-)
Dear, Rickshaw, I see alot of dirt being thrown at you. Dont mind that, thats just the Pakistani style.
Pakistan, and Islamabad is big on car culture. People import alot of luxury and sports cars to Pakistan. There are a few specialist people, or shops so to say that import stuff for you. Plus, hobbists are really well informed about car-maintainance, and will be willing to help you around. There is a huge Beetle fan base in ISB too. You just need to find them. They are there. The car culture here is very underground, especially street stuff; also coz of the speed-radars. Otherwise, people arnt afraid to sign up for the latest Honda model that hits the market.
*Warning Sarcasm Ahead*
Rickshaw, Hope your sports car does well over 20 kmph :P hehe.
Ustad Rustam, nice post, keep adding stuff – a little more text would make it a bit more relative. Thats a Lotus Elise btw.
phil : thanks for the info dude. and i added less text cuz im too lazy and i thought people would be more interested in the pic than the text. and thanks for the compliment too :)
