CDA to Hire International Consultants

The Capital Development authority (CDA) would engage international consultants and developers for its mega development projects.
A CDA official said the upcoming projects like preparation of development plan of sectors E-12 and I-15 would be executed with the help of international firms.
The official said Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has also directed to raise 15,000 residential flats for people belonging to low-income group while another 8,000 flats are planned to be constructed in sector I-15
The sources said CDA Chairman Kamran Lashari has assigned the task of hiring international consultants to the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO would also facilitate CDA in reaching a joint venture with private partners in high rise IT and Telecom towers in Blue-Area.
