Airport Entry Fee

Now per person a 20 Rupee fee is to be paid for entering the premises of the Islamabad airport. The entry fee will be imposed from February 15. It’s imposed By the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority). However, passengers having valid travelling tickets and government officials, vehicles would be exempted from the fee.

This imposition of the fee aimed to ensure the safety of passengers because the number of visitors coming to the airport to receive and see off passengers had been rising, causing inconvenience to the passengers as well as the airport management.

    A nice move to deter lechers from hanging around the terminal.
