Capital to have wedding lawns and cafes

Chairman of the Capital Developmental Authority directed planning wing to plan more social facilities to residents of Federal Capital.
The facilities would include wedding lawns on pattern of Karachi city, gymnasiums and cafes which would be open to general public on economical rates.
CDA said that they wanted to provide more and more social and healthy facilities to general public.
For cafes, five sites of 400 square feet would be allocated tin sectors G-6, G-7, F-6, F-7 and I-9. The authority would allot plots to private parties who would construct cafes at their own expanses.
Two gymnasiums would be developed in I-8 and G-9 and would be run with the cooperation of the community.
The CDA also approved three wedding lawns at different sectors. The plots for the wedding lawns will be finalized soon.
The wedding lawns on those plots would be developed by private parties and would be available for general public to hold only wedding on much lower rates as compared to hotels.

Well lawns are costly … how cum ???

Coz most of the weddings take place in winters hence 10K+ for lawn … 25+ for marquees and heaters and 30K+ for dinner/lunch … while for 250 pppl you can get goood halls for almost 60K or so …. but still lawns look good … lolz !

Well, that would be good for the upcomming couples :) I am facing the same problem , cant find the good wedding hall. There are only few open places to do it with Canopy. BUt still I cant take this risk in March ( a real rainy season) specially 23rd March is the rainy day, for the last few years. There are few farm houses though , but cant handle those with generators.
