Reality Show

Recently a guy was attacked by a Lioness at the Safari Park near Islamabad. The guy suffered serious injuries to neck and shoulder. He was rushed to PIMS and now seems to be in a stable condition.

The point however is that the park displays ample warnings to the visitors to keep in the car and not pretend to be yahoos or Johnny Bravos to confront the wild beasts. However some people do not pay heed to the advice and then pay the price, just like these guys did.

There hasn’t been an accident in the park for the past 12-13 years, which also explains why there was no ambulance or paramedical staff at the location.

However, please be careful when you go to these parks and observe rules

ouch … poor him … and what about the lioness? I hope like others they haven’t shot it down – usually you’ll find animals in such bad condition in these safaris and zoos of Pakistan that no wonder they can attack to quench their revenous stomachs and egos …!

My 65 % sympathies are with the Lioness !

I remember when once I went to this park, the guards were bulleying the lion so that it could “roar” and kids could be happy. How can you make a lion roar? That’s so plain stupid.
