Give Way To Special Persons On Roads

20070207_24.jpgSpecial persons called for their due rights on roads and in other fields of life during a walk organised by the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) to celebrate its first anniversary on Tuesday. Participants of the walk held banners with road safety messages and were led by ITP patrol cars. The walk began from China Chowk and ended in front of the Parliament Square.

In last one year ITP has brought down the accident rate by 46 percent. Unfortunately, no adult apart from the ITP personals participated in the walk.

ya real good effort by ITP.even i think the drivers of public transport are happy since i saw them carrying posters on their vehicles with “Congratulations to ITP Free from Corruption Police”.I guess every one is quite relieved by the sincere job being done by ITP.

Islooiites must make this a much greater event by actively participating in it… Events like this prove that the city is alive n kickin…

I would also like to request fellow Islooiites to display Pakistan flag (small or large) on their cars to show solidarity at times when the city has been hit again by a terrorist attack. Thanks
