Citizen Club Changing Sites

The Capital Development Authority is planning to change the site of the mega project of Citizen Club from Sector F-12 to F-9 Park.
The authority was planning to change the site of the recreational project in order to place the club in center of the city and make it cost effective.
It is for the second time that the site of the club would be changed. Originally, the Citizen Club was planned at Sector H-11 from where it was shifted to Sector F-12.
The CDA would seek opinion of the general public before initiating the project at the F-9 Park, through a web poll on its site.
The CDA has already finalized PC-1 of the Citizen Club at Sector F-12 to be completed over an area of 40 acres with a cost of Rs. 1.5 Billion. According to the original plan, the club would have separate swimming pools for men and women, gymnasium, facilities for indoor games and facilities for social gatherings.
