Jazz It Out

Rooted in African culture, which traditionally informs its disciplines and persuasions, jazz directly reflects the heartbeat and primal sounds of nature. Jazz is traditionally folk art, but not really that of the Pakistani folk.

A European-Pakistani jazz concert titled “Dialogue through Music” will be held Islamabad on February 24 at the NIC Auditorium. French guitarist Nguyen Le, Berman bassist Dieter Ilg, British drummer Steve Arguelles will be among the perfomers.

So all those jazz lovers who want to swing on the melodic tunes mark your calenders. Entry is free.

Both are related yet worlds apart. It’s like comparing mobilink jazz with musical jazz.Stupidity knows no limits.
