ITP Office to be relocated, but where ??

Having failed to find any relief the residents of sector F-8/1 and F-82 eventually approached the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, seeking relocation of the Islamabad Traffic Police Offices from the green belt along the 9th avenue to some appropriate and permanent location.
The residents of the area have been voicing their concern since last many years against the location of the Islamabad Traffic Police offices right opposite their homes.
They have been frequently approaching the Capital Development Authority, the ministry of Interior and other concerned departments in the Islamabad Capital Territory Administrations, pleading for the relocation of this office but instead of any positive measure being taken by these departments the size of the Islamabad Traffic Police continued to grow.
These residents seem to have found some measure of relief from the court of the Learned Judge Maulvi Anwarul Haq of the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, who is in his order on the petition filed by one resident directed the secretary interior, and the chairman of the CDA to take up the matter and decide it in accordance with the law and applicable rules and regulations to remove this blatant violation of the Master Plan.
The Learned Judge also set a time frame of eight weeks for and compliance to be reported to the Deputy Registrar (Judicial) of the court.
However, the residents of the area are concerned that despite issuance of the directions by the learned judge, there seem to be no activity that may appear amid at removing/shifting of this office from its present location, which has become a nuisance for the residents of the area, making their lives miserable and violating their privacy.
The Islamabad Traffic Police Officials, also conceded that the office location is not only insufficient and they need a proper place to move to.
They conceded that the presence of the office in the green belts is not only causing problems to the residents of the area but is also in violation of the laid down rules and regulations of the CDA. But they said that they are stuck at the spot because they do no have a proper place to shift to.
Earlier their were plans to relocate the Islamabad Traffic Police office to a new building being constructed in Mauve Area opposite sector G-10/1.
However, it was learnt that the space allocated to the Islamabad Traffic Police offices has been awarded to some other department.

Well pointed out. But I am not sure if it is currently that big an issue.

My best friend’s house is opposite the ITP office but I haven’t till yet faced any problem due to them in finding parking place. Even when I visited Saudi visa place, there was not any problem.

I think majority of the people would agree with me…

They should move it to opposite to Aabpara on the other side of the road. Plenty of space opposite the CDA offices or the fire brigade station…
