BusinessWomen Mela expected to be a big draw

Marketed on a large scale for the first time, the business women mela at the Fatima Jinnah Park this Sunday is expected to be a big draw.
Being organized by the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event promises to provide women a perfect platform to exhibit their products.
With Still two days to go, requests are pouring in for booking of stalls and already 70 have been booked. The organisers are pondering over increasing the number in order to provide maximum opportunities to women. @1967: The chamber’s relationship is not with the portfolio but with Shaikh Rashid himself, who happens to be the sole miniter from the region and thus the regional chamber’s affiliation with him.
