Coup or no coup, the need of the hour is to get rid of the vermin called taliban and Islamic extremists that have plagued the country in the recent months!

Speaking of rumors, here is another. It is being said (rather whispered) that the CJP was sacked because the govt was trying to get plans approved to allot some bases to US and NATO forces for an upcoming operation in the frontier province against Talibans hiding there. The recent Vice President of United State’s visit seems to be an intergral part of this as well.

It is said that the CJP was actually against this move by the government and had to be ‘removed’. Hmmm it sounds a bit too conventient though.

Nevertheless, we shall see whether he is granted an open trial (as he is requesting for one) or not. Unfortunately, as is always the case, we might NEVER find out the real truth.

Fabrications, fabrications! Oh the lovely world of politics and governments! :)

Islamabadians are waiting for something to happen, to then come out in full force and say “Maujooda Hakoomat Zindabad”. :P

Islamabad after all is a city of diplomats.

How come I am not excited about all this? Simply because there is nothing new to this endless mayhem and drama! The phrase: “SAME CRAP… DIFFERENT LOO” fits perfectly! The soap operas with there vomit-inducing zoom-in/zoom-out shots hold more interest than this!

Give it a week or two at the most! The fever will die, all the protestors will have sore throats (or sore bodies), and it will be business as usual.

    Pakistan Zindabad! :)
