Inzimam can still play more cricket. IMHO resignation from captancy was enough, he is still the best batsman in the team. I wish he takes back his resignation from one day cricket.

Inzamam is one of the finest players Pakistan or the entire world of cricket ever produced. It’s sad that his performance in the last some time were not to mark (even to his own standards), yet we must honour him for all he did for Pakistan and the world of cricket.

The problem with Pakistanis is that we appreciate too much when little appreciation is needed, and blast to hell when sufficient criticism is needed.

I hope – our loses to Ireland & West Indies, or possible victory against Zimbabwe today – will not deter us from appreciating the man who became part of our households and families, as INZI!

as @BitterTruth pointed out… there is alot of cricket still in him and he should continue as a batsman… and yousif or Razaq should take over as captain…

He has not retired from cricket, but only from one-day cricket. You will still see him around in whites.
