This gunja dude is the last man standing between good theatre and “popular” theatre in Pakistan. But how long can he sustain the dying flame of theatre with his even so weakenning phoooookss!!!!!

Islooites have been living under the shadows of “bomb” threats for a long time now, a little of “bombay dreams” would surely be a pleasent and a welcome change! Nice to see some foriegn artists from neighbours next door comming in. Islamabad welcomes them with open arms..:-)

    hello everybody,
well bombay dream is talk of the town, n that curiousity leads me towards the islamabad club.
well, play was a nice effort but there were bit of things that were not up to the mark,
like hero og the play Akash, was bit over. though he wass good in emotional scenes but uptill then he had completly lost his image by doing comedy. in which he was worst, n he has lost his image by doing that in a juggler sort of manner. i mean that he was not at all natural.
the worst thing i found in the play was choreography. song Chayya Chayya was complete copy of the orignal movie. it seems tht choreographer hasnt use his brain well.only one song was slightly better n tht was tu he re… from movie Bombay.
As far as other actors are concerned, they were good on their behalf.
And the last thing, there was slightly need to improve the script.
But atleast there is a point, that something good is happening in Islamabad, so we must appreciate this thing n i wish very best of luck to Shrabeel n must advise him to concentrate on all the departments regarding to theatre.
