The Butterfly Effect

Butterflies.jpgDid you know that a butterfly flapping its wings in Boston, can cause a storm in Bombay? Atleast that’s what the chaos theory suggests. Heck you can find more about the “Butterfly Effect” for your own interest if you want to.

Firefly%20Tree.JPGBut transporting ourselves back to Islamabad, we have our own butteflies making waves. May 2 was the hottest day of the fading spring in Islamabad. But despite the increasing intensity of summer, the flora and fauna of Islamabad are at prime bloom these days. Just step out for a few minutes in your courtyard at home in the morning and you can feel the gentle breeze on your face with countless butterflies floating around. The patterns on their wings, comprising of countless shades of nature are enough to mesmerize anyone who has an eye for art. Step out further on the road and you can see colors of pink, purple, and red flora spread all around.

Human%20Color%20Effect.jpgWhat more; you can see countless butterflies on the constitution avenue flutering their wings in the scorching heat to protest against the chief jusice case. Yesterday their food truck was “hijacked” on the way to protestors by the present government; who was hijacked by the alleged hijacker democratic government. They inturn hijacked everyone. Go figure.

But butterfies have nothing to do with the hijackings in any aspect. They are free spirits, that’s not the way to suffocate those poor colorful creatures.

Anyway no matter where you go these days in Islamabad, colors are spread all around, and not to forget the colorful butterflies. But it makes me wonder, does chaos theory hold true here too?

Hello there backpacker! A colleague here… might as well let you guess who I am ;-) Hehehe.

I’ve been noticing a lot of butterflies around my place too. Sometimes I feel they’re trying to communicate with you by fluttering around in different patterns. Maybe they’ve got something important to say and we never figure it out. Maybe they’re warning us that if we don’t stop polluting the environment, they would destroy the whole world with a series of butterfly effect storms and tsunamis and godknowswhatelse! So be wary my friends, for the end is nigh, and the butterflies would rule planet earth sooner or later!
