High Alert

Jihad.jpgIslamabad has been set on high alert after the annoucement by Lal Masjid Clreic to wage “Holy War” against the government if the Lal Masji compound is stormed by force. These announcements were being made by loud speakers from within the Lal Masjid. Earlier thousands of police personal from Punjab were brought to the city to be housed in the quarters at G-6 on Saturday. In addition to that elevated para military movement can be spotted in G-6. The students of Jamia Hafsa have blocked the main road of the sector, and scores of students could be seen on the streets armed with canes, spears, axes and automatic weapons. From the looks of the situation it appears that a major operation is eminent. In any case Islamabad has been set on high alert and movement in the G-6 sector has been inhibbted for the people. The authorities have ordered deployment of rangers on the roof tops adjacent buildings to the masjid. While people living in the vicinity have started their exodus in fear of an expected action.

After a day of negotiation, the administration of the Lal Masjid, or Red Mosque, late Saturday freed two of the four personnel who were abducted a day earlier in return for the men it said had been detained by the police on false charges.

The government agreed to release the four on Monday. Ghazi Abdul Rashid, one of two brothers who runs the mosque and two adjacent madrassas, said the other two policemen would remain in captivity until the release of seven more men also on their list.

Security forces surrounded the mosque after the officers were abducted Friday, but senior interior ministry officials decided to negotiate rather than storm the building.

on one hand dictator gives free hand to his beloved MQM’s terrorists and murderers in karachi and on other hand he is about to start an operation against these molvis in Islamabad….

I think resolving matters on table is rather more profitable for both parties. Both of them are not ready to back off. According to a government official they are not there to have a crack down. Then for what those 10000+ people are there?
I just dont want blood on the road.

An operation will be last nail in the coffin that is of Mr. Musharraf!

The entire country is like a dry stack of hay. All it needs is one spark.
Lets pray that this regime is not stupid enough to light it.
Playing with emotions of people by demolishing mosques is not a very smart policy. Everything was status quo with all the elightened moderation espoused by this nemesis of Pakistan but when you demolish mosques-well what do you expect.
And those who say kill a 100 of them-if you are Muslims remeber one day you will face your judgement before your eternal abode is decided by Allah (S).

And what is understanding Islam?? Open dealing in Riba (interest)?? Open homosexuality?? Open alcohol??

Do yourself a favor and just read the Quran with its meaning!

And if you do decide read the history of Caliphates of our Rightly Guided Caliphs. You might actually understand Islam.

People should not take the law in their hands. Taking hostages, burning shops and similar acts against fellow Muslims are not commendable at all. If they want to implement Sharia by force why not they march to the President house and take it over?

I believe this issue is used in conjunction with other issues (Waziristan, Balochistan, NWFP, Karachi, CJ issue etc) to create chaos and uncertainty in the country. Who is doing this? It could be the dictator or forces against him.

If the government attacked Lal Masjid (Allah forbid) there will be severe retaliation across the country. IMHO.

All…the basic question is wht is this all about? To my understanding it is about masjids and madrassas built on the land not owned the these mullahs and when GOVT asked to take them down they got mad that ALLAH does not like taking down the masjids.

I would like to ask these Mullahs, isn’t it against the basics of Islam to steal and occupy someone else’s property?

GOVT has been very patience and they understand the faragility of the situation.

Since most of our population is uneducated and these mullhas have free pass to brain wash them on the baisis of religion. That uneducated population is so “BHOLI” they would do anything these mullah tell them to.

    I suggest the folloing:

    1. GOVT should consider them terrorist
    2. GOVT should ask the opposition parties to help them resolve the issue. This would tell us 2 thing:
A:if the aopposition sincere about the country (PAKISTAN) not just their ploitics
b: if anybody listens to them

3.GOVT should block the area and do not let anyone in and out. Let them die in there.

I would not suggest to go in there with power. I think that would not help this GOVT at this stage.

    LONG LIVE PAKISTAN

I also think they are doing the right thing. But how they are doing is the issue. State within state is not acceptable. I am amazed to see all of them still alive. How can a group of people dictate the government by all there dirty tactics?

In Islam there is no ‘right thing but wrong way’. This concept is brought in by Mullahs to justify their wrong doings. In Islam there is only right or wrong…no ifs and buts. Only Hypocrite Mullahs talk of ifs and buts.

Government puts pressure then takes it off once it realises it isn’t working. Molvis know this and won’t budge. End of story.

i have a gut feeling that this lal masjid issue is being used by dictator as a diversion tactic to divert attention from CJ issue and MQM’s massacre in karachi……. irony is that operation is being planned against LAL masjid, while on the other hand terrorists and murderers from MQM roam around scot free … it just shows that Mush takes his decisions based on ethnicity.. operation and killings of pakistanis in Wana and baluchistan.. but siding and supporting known terrorists who are responsible for killings in karachi…… in past dictator opened up indian channels to divert public attention from local media covering dictator’s incompetence

But i think this is a real issue. Government changed the plan as they knew there is a possibility of ammunition inside the mosque. Just to avoid the bloodshed they moved back to the negotiation policy.

    @ Kamran

    AOA,

bro u just raised 1 point!!!! very poor…Allah gives us brain n knowlege and we can easily determine what is wrong and what is right. so understanding islam doesn’t belongs to the life of Caliphs. It belongs to history of mankind and the life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad PBUH. I dont know as a Muslim why ppl refer to the Caliphs rather to reffer to the Quran and Sunnah.

Is this Islam that you kidnap a woman (wht she do is not important bcoz you are not the one who is authority) and force her to confess infront of ‘MAN’???? so wre did that PARDA….NA-MEHRAM…etc things goes than.

Is this Islam that you take guns in your hand and start doing what ever you want???? and remember you are not an authority.

Is this Islam that you burn all the DVDs and CDs and claims that “The shopkeepers are willing to do this” ????????

    NO NO NO NO

    This is not Islam…….

Islam is an easy way of understanding life. If you threat a woman to stop running a “FAHASHI KA ADDA” then wht benifit you get??? nothing!!! bcoz she will say “Ok..I am guilty and I won’t do it again” and just get away from that place and laugh in her heart and proudly say “I make them fool” bcoz she can open her buisness anywhere else. Do u understand!!!!!??????

Same with the burned DVDs and CDs. Cut the root not the leaves of the tree bcoz they can grow again.Showing aggression is very easy but too solve a problem is a difficuult task and that what our Islam and Hazrat Muhammad told us.

Now my last point, Yeah the biggest issues of Islamabad THE LAL MASJID. Student (brain washed) having guns with smiling faces, believe that they will gain access to JANNAT if they wre killed by PAkistan Army during an operation against them( If Khoda-na-Khowasta it happens).

I am not saying that running business of sluts or wine or x DVDs or whatsoever is right. this musrt be stopped. But only be the government and if you wnat to be the part of the government you have to take part in the politics of the country so that you can have access to the Assembly and you can make laws against those who are in such buisness. but when someone asked these MAULVIES to do so they say “Politics 1 ganda kam hai…app jao gaye tow app bhi ayesae hi ho jao gaye…OR….1 aadmi yeah thori kar sakta hai…or something” but wont say “I am willing to do this and I will create opportunites for it for myself.

Islam is nothing but to solve the complex issues into simpler task.

Now what do u say Kamran!!!! Do I understand Islam or only you can understand it????

    plz reply to my post.

    Allah Hafiz

    @Hassan

Lets put all things aside. Quran clearly says interest (sood) is haram and is infact considered war against Allah. Now these are infact extremely strong words.

Whenver this issue is raised, most of the self oppointed liberals give mile long excuses like world is like this, economy cant be run without it, it was old times etc.

Now my question is, do these liberals know better than Allah what is better and what is not (NaoozBillah)?

    What do you say?

  21. HASSAN' (unregistered) on May 24th, 2007 @ 5:49 pm

    @ baazi

First of all let me tell you that i didnt pointed out this issue (of riba or sood). kamran has pointed out this on my my reply that “I wish that these mullas could understand ISLAM”. so just tell me that wre the word riba or sood i mention?? and also in my second reply i din’t even touch this topic. wht i did is tell you guyz that whatever these LAL Masjid Maulana doing is not right. Nor our Islam allows it neither Prophet allows this.

Now come to ur point ….. RIBA.. c whatever Quran says it is obviously right. So I cant comment on it. for example drinking wine is not allowed in Islam….everybody knows this….but i take this issue like ….”Why this thing is HARAm in Islam while many ppl like it?” and then I come to know(by different arguments)that thank god it is HARAM in Islam. so in the same way I took this Riba i will also research on the RIBA issue.

PLZ NOTE: that this topic is of LAL MASJID issue not RIBA so plz dont go off topic might be moderator dont like it. I am sorry if I took this topic in wrong direction but I think i didnt but lets c wht mod will reply.
