Tale of a Blizzard

Last week, just after Lal masjid operation, the weather turned really nasty in Islamabad … heavy showers on last Thursday and then on Saturday troubling many in and around the city.

Troubled waters of Islamabad

can you guess which place is this???

And then the Thursday showers and blizzard uprooted many trees, branches were everywhere … Islamabad was looking like a bride readied up in loadshedding ;-)

It appears to be an attack by a giant elephant. It’s foot can clearly be seen. I suspect this is some dastardly new weapon system that Mush acquired from that devil Bush, in some conspiracy they cooked up to destroy all true believers, like the spy squirrels in Iran and the killer badgers of Basra. @!^)>

Seriously though, do you often get this kind of weather in mid-Summer? It must be a result of global warming which curiously seems to be resulting in cooling. Except in NWFP were it’s getting very hot indeed.

I guess that this place is located on Jinnah Avenue in between the sectors G-6, G-7, F-6 and F-7.

    Faran: try hard :-)
    It’s a tree fallen on a van … !!

Sean: Cool Imagination … from this point Now I’m seeing an elephant too :>

Well, in Islamabad due to hilly land; the water seeps away very fast … the one you can see here must be due to very heavy downpour and it must’ve gone away quickly too (in hope :>)

    Ahmed: hain … Haan :)

Rehan: see if someone affirms it ;-)
