Friday Furor Continues

It is past 2:30pm and Friday prayers still have not been held at the Lal Masjid. According to the various television crews on site, members of the MMA offered prayers outside the mosque whereas protesters largely composed of students and some residents of the area are still inside the compound and prayer halls of the mosque. Their demands center pressurizing the government to bring Maulana Abul Aziz to offer khutba and lead the juma prayers. News channels have shown students acting aggressively in the mosque, shouting slogans, throwing shoes and brick and climbing onto the main minaret.

Additionally, they have also been shown chalking the words ‘Lal Masjid’ on the walls of the newly painted mosque and repainting the exterior red.

All arguments relating to the rights and wrongs of Operation Silence, but is this refusal to allow prayers to take place in the mosque really the way to convince people of the way of Islam?

I have been mistaken in the past in expressing that Lal Masjid issue should have been dealt with peacefully. This appears to be a continuous Fitna.

In view of the historical perspective of Prophet (PBUH) ordering demolition of Masjid Zarar in Madina due to creation of Fitna among Muslims, the government should ask a few scholars about this and if they agree, raze this building to the ground since this is creating Fitna in a Muslim country.

Then we bemoan about the “image” of Islam, who we never tire of proclaiming the religion of peace.

The whole place should have been demolished or turned into a public welfare place, such as, a library, or a women health centre, or an art gallery, an inoculation clinic, a post office. But it should not have been kept a mosque.

Now the controversy will linger on. Better still they should not have released the madrassa “students”. There is no hope in reintegrating them into civilization due to intense and protracted indoctrination they have undergone. Now they are using shoes to terrorize people, give them a week, they will refill the basement with guns and rocket launchers.

Idiots!! How can anyone stop prayers in a mosque?
    Lunatics I say!

They should all be lined up and stoned to death in public!

Until the time such maniacs are ridiculed and put to justice in public, there’ll be no stopping to incidents like this.

The govt ought to stop acting like dodos!

IUNKNOWN: Had any of my relative idiot enough to be in the Lal Mosque, he/she would have deserved to be killed. The Lal Mosque Brigade chose their path — no one took them off the street and forced them to bunker themselves inside the mosque and terroise the public and the government alike.

Nobody has ruined the image of Islam more than idiot and selfish mullahs and their stupid followers. Islam need to be liberated from the clutches of the ignorant.

IUNKNOWN: This is your last chance to redeem yourself. Go and hole yourself up in the basement of the Lal mosque. Don’t forget to take along your belt which will help you meet your lot of 72 virgins once you had pressed the button attached to your belt of redemption.

Killing people in the name of religion is Jihad for you, after all. Don’t blow it [pun intended] this time.

Jaded, don’t misreport. They just refusedt to offer prayers behind govt appointed Imam and Islam clearly allows you to NOT offer prayer behind Imam which you don’t like. You should visit jang updates first. Nowhere it’s mentioned that people were not WILLING to offer namaz. They just didn’t want Molana Ashfaq.

Namaz was held later behind imamat of some other imam who was student of Jamia faridya.

Islam need to be liberated from the clutches of the ignorant.

*nods*- that’s why I am glad that you are not part of Islam.

“Killing kafir and munafiq in the name religion, is jihad definitely ”
Wow what a religion of peace. Kill whoever doesnt belong to your religion. So all the hindus christians etc are gone. What next , who will determine who is munafiq and who is not. Ofcourse you, so most of the others are also gone. But they will claim that you are munafiq. So in the end you have a big graveyard , and graveyards certainly are quite peaceful. Keep it up IUNKNOWN.
Great religion of peace, with a slogan of kill everybody. Would you please excuse me and try to change the definition of peace in the dictionaries too.

All the violent maulvis should be rounded up and tried under the rule of law. They sould not preach violence hatred, sucide bombing. This proetest could also be done in a more civilised way,I mean, in a peaceful manner. It seems, that these maulvis have,no tollerance at all, they adopt to violence means, they need councelling.

  20. Adnan Siddiqi (unregistered) on July 28th, 2007 @ 1:19 am

faisal thanks for giving a fatwa from thousands of mile away from your desk and thanks for proving my point that those who criticize mullahs are not more intolerant than others. As sameed said, I would just show sympathy. :-)

  21. JayJay (unregistered) on July 28th, 2007 @ 8:59 am

Adnan: The anti-Mullah people don’t go out to blow up innocent people or kidnap civilians to behead them. Extremists are those who kill people in the name of religion adn use mosques to preach hate and arm themselves. You cannot equate Jihadis and secularists. They are streams apart.

Baber: You are spot on. The same stupid Islamists then bemoan about the image of Islam but are ready to kill anyone who does not follow their twisted ideology based on violence and hatred. Their mantra about religion of peace is becoming hollow by the day when so many of the truest followers are killing anyone they can lay their hands on.

  22. IUnknown (unregistered) on July 28th, 2007 @ 2:05 pm

    @baber:
Kill all those munfiqeen and kafirs, who try creating fitnah among muslims. Thats the complete sentence. So, please clear ur minds. Example is give below.

U know Nabi (SAW), at the time of Conquest of Makkah, he gave every one forgiveness but 17 persons. And these were those 17 persons who used to humilate islam and Nabi(SAW) openly. Nabi(SAW) gave the orders of their murders and one of them was murdered in Haram.

Its very easy to identify munaqif these days really. In old days, munafiqs used to pray like muslims and live like muslims therefore, it was difficult to identify them but know they can be identified very very easily . I hope u got my point or shud i tell u how to identify munafiq? :)

U looked like a literate one but again, u belong to musharrafs company, called “Hell Betallion”

@JayJay: when would u grow up??
All the anarchy in the world has been created by non muslims and money lovers and either secular ppl or chirsitians . Who attacked IRAq?? wat abt kashmir? wats goin on in bosnia?? why afghanistan was attacked wid out any proofs?? Where is usama no one knows. Whom usama works for, it isnt clear either.

Stop watching Fox and BBC !!

@Adnan: why u waste ur time answering such persons???? :D
