Dare, Courage or just Women ??
Have you ever dared to do such a thing?? It may be outrageous for some, courageous for other and yet absurd for many – as in the case of this lizzie love
But a brave lady we’ve here … no matter its poisonous or not; it takes guts to do such an act. And see how at-home the snake feels in her hand :-) What a beautiful hood it makes too …!
I confess I wont ever be able to hold such a thing in my hand ever … would you or have you ???
ps: which snake is this, any ideas??

I’m interested to know what happened afterwards… :P
Wow this is impressive. Brave woman.
This is obvioulsy king cobra….how can you not know that? :P
It is not a King Cobra by any means, although it is a from the cobra family.
Hats off to the lady with such courage, hope the Mr. Slithers didn’t get pissed off! :)
A for [Pine]Apple is that you?
Phil, King Cobra: http://www.treknature.com/gallery/Asia/Thailand/photo18410.htm
All cobras look the same :)
I thought for quite some time if i could do that ! even if the teeth of cobra were surely off. Probably i can never hold any snake with such boldness. To me snake is all poison. May be i was made to think so from my childhood. The snake is after all a snake and can attack or masquerade an attack and thhat can be very frightening. Anyway the lady looks graceful and daring. Hats off.
Shaheer: I couldn’t know but seems things went fine :)
MB: Yup gutsy :>
Self: Only cobras have hoods naa??
Phil: Your Mr. Slithers never looked so happy else where ;-) And no man it’s not me, I would have fainted :P
Self: you’re saying Phil’s king cobra — heheh :P
(Somehow King Cobras always come into my mind in Black color :s)
Gulzar: well ya the scare factor is always there – no matter teeth are out or in :)
I don’t know if anyone noticed but the woman has a snaky look in her eyes…:P
Hmmmm….
This cobra has no teeth to inject any poison that it may have. I assume the picture is from the Snake House at Ayub Park where I previously saw the snake keeper get attacked repeated (without harm) as he cleaned the windows of the cage. Still, this is a muscular creature and I wouldn’t want to get hit with that type of force nonetheless.
Well done!
The other day I visited Riyadh Zoo on one of the weekly specified men-only days, and saw fat long snakes wrapping themselves around the necks of little kids like dupattas while the daddies of the kids took their snaps.
