In my opinion, Ahmad Raza Kasuri did mention some valid points but he lost worth of all his words when he started abusing and Man, some serious abusing it was.
On Sunday the show was telecasted and on Monday a fellow-professional-Lawyer of his helped himself to a good black coating on Kasuri’s face. Kasuri is defending the case of Musharaf as Army Chief and President in Supreme Court.

Heads of Kasurites have bowed down because of nefarious language used by Ahamd Raza Khan Advocate in “The Great Debate” on GEO TV at 1905hrs at GEO TV on September 23, 2007. The last portion of the first episode of the programme “The Great Debate” shows Pakistani Public the ugly face of the Presidential Camp. Pakistani & International media should avoid using word “Kasuri” with the name of Ahmad Raza Khan Advocate.
You Say What?
if you ask me – its very funny :P and actually he deserved that what he said on TV show – can he just say that he ended up Bhutto and these Lawyers are nothing infront him ?
I respect law as a profession for another fact that Quaid-e-Azam was a laywer. Besides, the attacker’s act was a political worker of PPP for what he said for Bhutto. This has nothing to do with cases or any thing which he and Govt. are trying to include now.
This is nothing more than a stint to add zest and further dramatize the political unrest in the country. Lawyers against Lawyers… my my … this is turning out to be more interesting than any lame Star plus drama! :p

So much hate in our society is surely going to lead to something more disasterous. I wish not. These are ‘educated law makers’ of our community. What do we expect the ‘law followers’ to be?
oh my God lawyers abuse so much.. it is sad but I can’t help but laugh at the situation.
Two wrongs don’t make a right. We are imbibed with the curse of intolerance right across the society. No wonder democracy has not been able to prosper here.
It is extremely shame that the lawyers were involved in this.
They claim to be law-enforing lawyers but they acted like illiterate, low and cheap “liars.”
And that is true for both sides.

“surely he deserve this treatment” wow! what a display of tolerant behavior by ASA. You guys want to have rule of law in this country but I guess ppl just want to have rules that they like. When a case is in a court-of-law then both parties are allowed to be representated by a legal counsel. Even serial killers hire one from the same lot.

The colour sprayer guy said that Kasuri has black hands, black tongue and black traits, so basically he was doing a colour matching job by painting Kasuri’s face black !!!!
I am amazed that the so-called intellectuals of this country takes such matters to show their intellectualism, see what Nasim Zahara, Adil Najam ,Shereen Mazari and many likes of them on this site as well. They try to pretend as if they are living in a society which is full of social justice and humiliating even an animal will cause an uproar. I would have loved them if they were sincerely upset about that. Unfortunately they are not as how can you be upset about someone spraying a black pain on one’s face while you never get upset for so many people being killed every day on account so many reasons. How can I be upset about such a trivial action by a person when I am not upset for the death of 10 people in road accident that happened due to say a bad road, no signal or even collapse of a newly built bridge.
By spray painting Mr. Kasuri’s face black, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed lodged a protest against the Dictatorial regime and its bullying tactics. His actions are no different from that of Ms. Alena Lebedeva who lodged her anti war protest by slapping Prince Charles across the face with a flower or ANimal rights activists who spary paint fur coats to make a statement against brutal treatment of animals.
