… and it continues – peaceful protests
There gonna be two protests on Novemver 14 & 15, as per the following schedule:
The first one:
Date: Wednesday, November 14, 2007
Time: 3 30 p.m.
Location: Aabpara Chowk, Islamabad.
All the sections of the civil society are expected to join.
Few KEEP-IN-MINDs:
You should wear a black band to protest against the imposition of emergency.
You should bring a flower to pay homage to the men of courage.
Please remember
- To be right on time
- During the protest do not block the road and let the traffic pass by so that you do not cause inconvenience to general public.
And the other one:

Time: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Location: Blue Area…starting from Subway upto the president house

Yup, he was betrayed. He was called upon, locked in a room, freed, and was left alone in front of police, who, quite naturally, arrested him.

I hope now Imran Khan realizes what its like being in company of Qazi & Gul.
It reminds me of event in the peak of Afghan War, several of Ahmed Shah Masood’s Panjsheri commanders were invited by Afghan Jamatee Gulbadin Hekmatyaar to discuss cooperation between the two groups fighting against the Russians. All of those commanders were murdered in cold blood. Imran Khan is lucky!
Betrayed… hmm partly. We all know the how big and influential is the Jamaat-e-Islami stronghold in PU. An understanding had been reached between the police and Imran Khan that he will present himself for a public arrest AFTER speaking to the rally and it was agreed upon from both ends. The unfortunate incident of him being apprehended by Jamaat-e-Islami was completely uncalled for that baffled his supporters as well as the authorities. He’s lucky to have survived the ordeal with only a few kicks and smacks. Those folks are known to do a lot more than that with no regard to who is who.
