All About Lifestyles – 2007

I’ve visited All About LifeStyles expo, organized by Dawn this year again (( 2005 & 2006 )), for expecting to have something new in offering. But was disappointed to see the same stalls, same products, placed at exactly the same locations in Convention Center.

With no Industrial Exhibitions happening in city for quite some time, people do visit such shopping fiestas in Capital for fun, enjoyment and Food. A little outing experience for families, games and all-play for children; not to forget stalking for the youth :\

Dawn covers the major happenings in All About Lifestyles exhibition; still the only thing that I personally liked and enjoyed was a Photographical Galleria errected in main entrance. Pictures (not paintings) by a young artist “Fozia Akram”, touched-up but awesome perspective, were on display for sale ranging from rs. 5000-Rs.10,000. But they were worth buying and hanging at your favorite wall :-)

Last year, the exhibition was ruined by rains. So this time most of the stalls outside were arranged around the out-passage floors. So last night’s rain, hpefully, created no troubles. Patio Heaters was a new product on sale this year :-)

By the way, a few announcements were so interesting like:

Dalda kay stall kay aagay say jagah khali kardijiyay – Masha Allah hum Zinda Qaum hain – Hum Yah kar saktay hain :D

Falaan & Falaan Medicines kay stall par aayain aur FREE advertisement package le jayain, har bag may aik Cough Syrup muft hasil karain =)

Lastly, the FOOD COURT sponsored by Masala TV was really nice this time. Savour foods, Zenos, Saag Roti, Shariif’s ChiRrray, Munchies and a few other outlets were on everyone’s service. Pink tea (commonly known as Kashmiri Chaeye) was utter disappointment as usual but rest of the stuff that we tried, and otherwise, looked good and appealing :-)

Here’s the nteresting Shareef Chirray and Saag Roti’s Stall in Food Court:

Shareef's Chirray and Saag Roti at your service

I do hope to see something new and interesting, not the same products and stalls, next year. Something like Bridal Extravaganza or Antique stuff like they have in Karachi’s exhibition.

Hoping for good!

It was a nice pass-time!!

Danish A good 1-1.5 hr outing, if you’ve nothing on your to do’s list … then why not?

Nosheen Yayy, you are back, howdy?? Ohh the food court was actually the finest thing (with bad bad pink tea) but it was a bit out of way, could be easily missed :\
