A friend fowarded this few days back, what a compact beauty!!!

A bi-seater luxury, more commonly known as Smart Cars. Do we need smart drivers too??

Any ideas on exact make, price?? Anyone?

    Hi. this car is a Smart car. Built by an arm of the Daimler Chrysler company. They are available here in the UK from £8,500 brand new.

    of course u do need smart drivers even dough am not from pakistan but i tell the traffic in pakistan is bad people never follow the law

    I’m not really into cars. I can’t even tell them apart. But I recently saw a tiny (read: microscopic) red two-seater at a dealer in F-10, and asked about it because I thought perhaps it would be affordable enough to become my first car. Turned out it was a Suzuki Twin, that company’s version of the smart car – and it cost around 600,000 bucks. Sigh.

    I’m sure I’ll have a similarly naive moment the first time I spot a hybrid. If I can tell it’s a hybrid, that is.

    Fatima Lolz @ your naive wishes, I share them too ;-) BTW, seems like Isloo is full of bi-seater convertibles these days. Almost every other day I spot one and drool over it, though not literally :/

    Smart is a joint venture by Daimler Motors and Swatch (yes the watch co). It is a hybrid vehicle with an electric supplemental engine.

    there is another model from the same venture called Smart 2, or Smart roadster which is much like a mini coupe….amazing shape and good performance.

    Overall, both the cars are 2 seaters with a below average performance as the focus is on the fuel consumption rather than speed.

    Safety-wise, smart has a very high rating despite the meager size.

    on a side note: the chinese have copied the smartfortwo and managed to shove 4 seats in it!!
