Snow or Hail; Whatever Thou Art :)

Talha and Backpacker has shared quite some amount of hailstones aka SNOW FALL in Islamabad with you. And as if I can resist posting anything =D

If I remember corretly after 28-29 Jan 2003’s early winters this happened in Islamabad for teh second time. I missed last time’s heavy hailstorm but glad I was out in time to witness the marvellous white beauty, Subhan Allah :) Who wants to go to Murree now =)

Hoping to see the slush by the roads tomorrow too … if you were not in Islamabad; you definitely missed it big time. If you were then woohoo I hope you enjoyed well.

You may have seen snow man but for the first time I saw a SNOW-DOGGy =)) And its cute :>

Islooites should be thankful of Global warming which provided them these moments.

Is it true that snow fell first time in Islamabad?

@AS: Noops not the first time. the same thing happened on 30th jan 2003 too. On and off, Islamabad or let’s say “OUR” Margallas get some share of whiteness too!!

@Itanium: Small world indeed. The one’s after the jump?? I even saw many posting those on flickr under their names too … add a watermark may be next time. They are nice captchas!!

‘A view of while isb’ and last two after the jump. And never mind about watermarks :-) I had my part of fun with it and now let them have their part, whatever way they want. I’m not going to sell these in foreseeable future anyhow ;)

Thanks for posting those pics – I enjoyed them. Nice to see they have snow in Pakistan too. We don’t seem to have much of it in London anymore, maybe time to go over to PK and have fun over there.

I miss Islamabad, especially when it’s not beautiful less than Switzerland’s Lugano City or Lucarno Mountains
