CNG Prices – Pumps stealing money from us!

Sometimes, the capital really doesn’t seem part of the country afterall. Yesterday, i filled up my CNG tank, paying Rs. 38.50 per litre. When i inquired the at pump since when did the price jump come into effect, i was told its been a couple of days. (I was out of city for almost a week and it happened sometime when i was gone).

Today i read an article saying that CNG prices have been increased as of 12:00 AM today by Rs. 1. I thought, great! yet another price increase, when i read the article and it said the price has gone upto Rs. 37 per litre.

All this, while the Chairman of the CNG Dealers Association denies that the prices in Islamabad have increased by Rs. 2.50!

I wonder if he’ll give me back my Rs. 10 which PSO apparently stole?

Hey there r people writing bad things about Pakistan on bbc, They r either misguided Pakistanis or from other countries. Who ever becomes the prime minister we CANNOT and SHOULD NOT insult our nation. Please go here and write something good. Tell the world that we are a resilient nation and we will rise to the top of the world. And they should mind their own business, this is our internal matter and we can handle our own problems. Lets not insult ourselves like this.

dushnabe: we’ve made fools of ourselves my dear. waiting around for over 1.5 months just to choose a PM is a joke! what use was the elections then if this is what was going to happen?

and if this is a precursor, what do you suppose the new ‘govt’ will do in the future? wait around till everything goes to hell?

I think I should claim my rupees back too.
In Rawalpindi most of the CNG stations are giving away free gas on every purchase like 10% to 15%….. whats that? I still dont understand, and practically, I found that gas more efficient. Islamabad is the city of ‘DAKOOS’
