Medicines @ night…
I needed some anti-allergy for a relative at 3:30 am yesterday and I found that there was no medicine shop open at that time.
The only chemist shop that I could find at that time was the chemist shop in Ali Medical Center at F-8 Markaz.
So, God forbid if you need medicines in emergency at that time, Ali medical center is the place to go…

Try Peshawar More. The medicine shops there are always open.
How abt shaheen & DWatson? F-8 markaz sux anyways~
welcome back :P
Shaheen and D Watson both were closed in both Super Market and in Blue Area. F-8 was closer to my home than Pishawar mor, but will keep that in mind :)
Thanks!!!
In such emergencies, I reckon, it’s better to look for chemist shops in or near the hospitals / medical centers instead of ones location in commercial areas.
In civilized countries such as England and America they have in each residential are a ‘Duty Chemist’ shop which remains open all night. You go to any chemist shop late at night in your area you will find the address of the Duty Chemist Shop for that night written outside it. So you go to the Duty Chemist Shop and buy your medicine without any problem. A simple system to follow and implement if want to.
The problem is, unlike the west, we are less worried about life in this world than the life in the next world. They lock up their churches at night but we keep our mosques open all night.
@kabirdas, normally I would not point out minor details in tone, but your use of the word "civilized" doesn’t seem to fit the context of you comment.
@ furquanatique
May be you are right and ‘organized’ would have been a better word to use in this context. However, I presume in many other contexts I may well be right to call them ‘civilized’. Mind you I feel very bitter about our general conduct and behaviour particulrly when we make such tall claims about our being the God’s chosen people.
I usually keep my anti-allergic tabs with me. Secondly, you can find the medicine from Shifa International Indoor Pharmacy. Thats close to my sector and easy to reach. :)
You can visit any good hospital where the chemists are available 24h.
