Monsoons in Isloo: Picturesque Details
Yesterday happened one full swing monsoonal rain. Making the annoying humidity condition much better. It called for a party too =)
A reader of Islamabad Metblogs, Imran Shakeel, sent an awe-inspiring shot our way.
And a few images I was able to capture through my mobile.
clouds were playing games over lush margallas ~
The samosa party- courtesy, Bangali :)
Its beautiful here. Still. Alhamdolillah =)
Are you enjoying monsoons too? How’s it over there? Missing Isloo, anyone =)

The kawwa enjoying rains :)
Adios!
Thats whay I like about Islamabad, its weather which is mostly fresh, but corrupting very fast by human development. Had somebody noticed how clear Islamabad looks, when it is viewed from Damn-e-Koh after a good rain. Thats a real joy of watching this city.
It certainly looks very beautiful during monsoons… I am curious to know if "samosa" has become a new monsoon ritual. Pardon my ignorance – I have away from the land of the pure for a very long time..
I guess it the same Bangali samasa in F-6 Farooqia Market.
I love Islamabad :)
nice shots! loving the lush greenery!
the bangali samosey look yummy, they’re tastier and more fun to eat to eat than our traditional jumbo ones, but at least we’re not kanjoos ;)
Islamabad looks great after a rain. It is with out a doubt one of the most beautiful cities of our country. I really wish they stop cutting the trees, otherwise it won’t be for long.
AGREED WITH YOU !!!
SOON OUR ISB WILL BECOME KARACHI, OR HAIDERABAD…… DRY AND DIRTY….
Oh, beautiful pictures!
I agree @ cutting trees and making all those new roads; i can’t even recognize my beautiful little town anymore! :(
