The police in that area is notorious about their behaviour. I won’t mention the true instances I know of, but I’ll tell you something from a TV clip they made:
A group of families went on a picnic to Shadrah. Dacoits arrived at the scene and demanded the usual. The men of the family took out weapons and scared the dacoits away. @sufiblade: same stuff happened to a neighboring family many years back.
Now Police is changed a lot, they do respect, my experience with family at the Damane-koh while we were on the way to Peer sohawah, they stoped us check the papers, said " be careful while you drive ", with smile.
I think it depends how you react when you face the police.
He don know about any of bad experiences … yet we as students had loads of fun at this place. It was just amazing and in good weather .it was way beyond euphoric…… loved the times .. love my university
Is it safe to go there without fear of police/dacoits?
At your own risk .. I guess.
Why would you be afraid of the police sufiblade?
