there is no "keep in your lane" concept in Pakistan.I am sure 99 percent of the drivers even don’t know what these lanes are meant for.( i don;t blame them coz we all know how we get our driving licenses there. :) )
and that is what causes most of the traffic snarls in Pak-people in right most lane trying to turn left n vice versa.and almost everyone drives on top of the lane demarcation. it was very difficult for me to drive in isb when i was there, but after couple of days, i said to myslef- do in rome as romans do… :)

Unity, Faith, and Discipline, In traffic case it could work but this will not resolve the traffic jam, Dubai is the fastest growing nation in this world and you know here we do not have that much traffic jam problems.

Because they are keep building roads way ahead.
Flyovers could resolve the half problem.
Also now they are building the electronic train for almost each city town market and will touch major points, guess what that kind of comfortable luxury with air-condition and snacks available in it, who does not want to catch that.

I think we should start working from now on in Islamabad Rwp to build some kind of this project, hey China will help you all.

You are talking about our enlightment by the discovery of our our sister Shama about the traffic problem. I am worried about how her discovery how it has shaken the very foundation of this wretched country which was bult by our Quaid on the foundation of Unity , Faith and Discipline.

Sister Shama please explain to us all how you got to this earth shaking conclusion like Einstein did to Theory of Relativity:-)

Think about it deeply like Kabir Das does and you will come to the conclusion that Unity Faith Discipline or the lack of it is the cause of most of our woes. I am talking about the root cause of it all.

Well I think you were like in my 30 meters radius :P was stuck in traffic at the same time there. And you know what was actually causing the traffic jam? People from the third and fourth lane standing in the front wanting to take a right done and you can’t really do anything about them. What made me angry was the fact the cops were standing on the other side of the road standing watching it. I was really pissed off! like when you have a lane to turn and your consuming extra three lanes just cause you want to turn first and ruin every one’s time. If you wanted to turn in the first place why not be in the lane early on.

Yup, THAT is also one of the reasons causing traffic jams. I agree. The Islamabad traffic Police personnel are doing a great job, but sometimes when they try to control traffic with their ‘bare’ hands, it becomes a nuisance.

Oh and by the way, my journey went smooth. The whole time i was intrigued by the not-so-full moon and kept staring at it. Wanted to take a picture too but neither my father stopped the car nor i had a hi tech camera on me to take a good picture. :-D
