Taaleem vs. Tarbiyyat
Watching the recently imported (from Sweden?) and installed swings at the Fatima Jinnah Park losing nuts and bolts in front of my eyes solidifies my belief that education does little, if anything, to improve a person. Why can’t the elderly refrain from mounting an object intended for a 5 year old? The same thing happens at Rawal Dam where 40 year old (and double-sized) folk abuse the childrens’ entertainment. And when comes ‘chutti time’, the gate gets crammed with people pushing each other out (or even in).
Is there no way to fix this sad situation?
I think there should be a no-parents policy at childrens parks.
