 After three superb experiences, I hereby declare China Town the best Chinese restaurant in town. Make that city. Or country. Sorry Lahorites <insert tongue sticking out smiley here>

    St #55, F-8/3, Islamabad

    Their specialty is Mongolian Firepot (souplike but complete food, serves 6 people), but maybe that is not for everyone.

    My favourite so far is Kim Mun but will have to try China Town now :)

    My favorite for a good two decades (that’s nearly right!) has been Kim Mun, but the last few times they have really disappointed. I won’t even mention the grim faces of the waiters and the appalling attitude of the management. Even their usually awesome Thai soup was in dire need of a quality check last time.

    I went to Kim Mun sometime in december and didn’t feel any change. A long time back I used to go to Shifang but stopped going because their quality had gone down. But will definitely try China Town and post my feedback :).

    @sufiblade

    What are the perhead charges here? My industry is going through a recession so I have to think before spending now :(

    Oh. Seven of us went, and six shared the bill i.e. 530Rs each. One appetizer, two soups (most of it went unconsumed), three rice (more than half was not touched), and three other dishes (better utilised, but one of these was unnecessary too).

    Good luck. You need some luck with every restaurant. Hot n Sour soup and Tom Yum (or was it Yum Yum) chicken are really good.
