So what are your guesses?

Intellectual Beings

Just last week, when the weather became finer and I was out to up in Margallas … Monkeys welcomed us and not one or two monkeys — there were families of them enjoying themselves and probably sun bathing too :>

On our way back, we stopped our car along the path (though unfortunately my cam’s batteries got exhausted after 2-3 pix) so I couldnt take many pix but the monkeys were so cute … and gosh their eyes were so beautiful too .. lolz … really look at the eyes of the ones here below.

And their were so many babies too … they were equally adorable … and while looking at them – I was thinking (loudly) that there’s a certain feel of intellectuality in them … even in their eyes … NO?? They were in playfull mood and were cashing their charms ;-) in form of corns, bananas and what not — oh yah everyone was shooting them too.

BTW, most of them were brown – only one monkey I saw was gray coloured.

I'm shoo cute

Picture Of The Day

14-02-07_1022.jpgI shot this from my workplace, but unfortunately when I rushed to take the snap, the wagon was out of range. The interesting thing about the wagon, was its contents. A guy was sitting on the front end playing violin, and girl facing him was sitting in the back seat. How romantic!

Overdone

ice_tn.jpgI think CDA chaps in an effort to mark the roads with signs, for good intentions ofcourse, have over done it. It’s to the point of looking funny and ridiculous at the same time. Especially when you go up to Daman-e-Koh or Pir Sohawa you can’t help laughing. Just yesterday I was up there and I could see humor labeled all around Margallas, with redundant signs, stupid signs, confusing signs, and in some cases strange looking signs. I will do a further cover up on this issue by posting here some of the snaps to corroborate my claim with evidence. This can become one fine road trip (evil grin)

We Dont Have Rickshaws but We have MEN & WOMEN

Well, Islamabad is thanksfully one city with no Rickshaw or Qinqi (pronounced Chingh-Chi) allowed inside … so we cant post some thing like Lahoris do or even Karachiites posted this too … I saw it first here , then here and now here and WOW even here too …. !

Isn’t this Hudood Ordinance appeal for MEN getting popular amongst Pakistanis as a whole ??? Let’s see if our dear Mushy gets air of it ;-)

On serious notes … a noteworthy thing

Rare Sight

I'm Relaxing on a cart

Rickshaw in Islamabad is a rare sight … and Rickshaw on a cart is even rarer … He must be on his way to our twin sister, Rawalpindi.

Rickshaw in actual should be the mean of comfort (read Hiccup-ing discomfort) for this cart-pusher … instead it becomes a burden …!

E-Bakra

With everything going “E” > … now the Bakras are E too … with this EBakra service that has kicked off from Islamabad – the sacrificial trends are changing too … going towards modernity and technological-friendly …!

Got to know of ebakra first through ATP’s post Billo for dinner … and saw its banner in Blue area today that really got me all giggling … quoting from All things Pakistan …!

ebakra.com is a service provided by Islamabad’s famous Qureshi Frozen Foods (which traditionally serves expatriate customers and others willing to pay premium price for high-quality, cleanliness and variety in meat products). The prices on the website right now are quite exhorbitant ( I am told by bakra connoisseurs better versed in the dynamics of the bakra market than myself that the price being asked on this website is more than twice what you would otherwise pay for the best bakras).

As of now, there is no service for overseas Pakistanis or for Eid Qurbani, but they say they are planning something. Right now their service is for delivery in Islamabad and their current product line is limited only to dunbas (goats): Here you can find animals of your choice, order it online and get the free delivery right at your doorstep. Rest assured that the health and safety standards are not compromised at any cost and we take every possible measure to make sure that our customers are satisfied with our services and products.
