Humming a different tune

Paktel, the pioneer of mobile telephony in Pakistan and the most dynamic innovator of value added products and services, has yet again broken new ground by introducing “Hi Tunes” for its customers. A move that has once again reinforced its position as the trendsetter in the cellular industry in Pakistan.
No longer will callers to Paktel GSM numbers have to listen to same boring beeps as they do on all other networks. Rather they will be pleasantly surprised to hear delightful music, hilarious jokes, celebrity voices, and a myriad of other sound clips.
Furthermore, it will also allow Paktel subscribers, both post-paid and pre-paid, greater flexibility to customize their user profile, and also personalize the experience of callers to their numbers, as compared to the impersonal ring back tones that they must endure while calling other networks.

Elaborating on “Hi Tunes”, Xavier Rocoplan, CEO, Paktel said that “While it is our constant endeavor to introduce cutting edge technology and provide our customers with the latest and most innovative products of international standard, this time we have gone even further and sought to enhance the experience of those who call Paktel numbers. This is the first time in Pakistan that a cellular operator has introduced a facility for callers to its network.” Paktel, the company that brought cellular telephony to Pakistan has always taken innovative new initiatives that set the standards for the industry as a whole.
