Mobile Number Portibility is being launched throughout Pakistan tomorrow.

Yes, now you can have your same number and switch to any GSM operator in Pakistan of your choice.

    then what about the packages these companies give, as from a mobilink to ufone charges are different and mobilink to ml charges are different, what if I’m dialing a prev ufone number (now a warid) thinking that its ufone :S

    Are u more confused or I am??

    Wow that’s great! We are far behind here in America at least in the telecommunication which in turn affect the Internet (IT) industry too.

    Don’t go all wimble wimble right now. I am sure there would be a big “trade mark” goof up before this system is finally in place. Keep an eye out for your credits too…who nows you might become the proud owner of unlimited free package overnight or zapped nil to the last paisa!
