Call of Duty 4 server launched

It was just last night when I tried to connect to MBL’s public server for COD2, and the server refused my connection. Yeah they have upgraded to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.

I am yet to see the game, but the reviews and trailer suggest it to be a good experience. Earlier versions were based on stories and maps from World War II. COD4 MW, as the name suggests, is about modern warfare. There are new maps including those from Middle East. Somebody was telling that you hear the sounds of Azan coming in the background on Middle East maps.

So if you have recently got the COD4 DVD, and are wondering as to whom to play with, there you go. Thanks to MBL for keeping it free.

Sure to get to play on, soon enough! Tested by one of my affiliates, who will most willingly post a review of the service on our blog.

    It’s a lovely game, anyways.

    @ Majad

The trailer is normally a little exaggerated :) but COD normally has good graphics. I am sure they would have improved a lot in COD4. And as far speed is concerned, there is very little data that needs to be exchanged between server and client, coordinates etc, so if you have a DSL connection, it should work very much fine. Yup, you need a COOL system and an even more COOL graphics card :)

    @ JayJay
Well if you dont play COD, that doesn’t mean nobody does :) And yes, thanks @ A for [pine]Apple, MBL is Islamabad based :)

Are there any good CS:Source servers in PK? Lahore or Isb?

Not much CS:Source in Pakistan. Wasay there is a lot of CS 1.6, and there are a few servers here and there.

Yes, you can join. There is a CS 1.6 server of MBL but they are not accepting new registrations. So you’ll have to wait :)
